Island Queen

6.3C with plenty of sunshine with the sun occasionally hidden by cloud. Moderate ESE/E breeze.

Grocery shopping over by mid morning. Maeve the Deerhound stayed at home.

Just for  change we drove up to Tayinloan so we could have a walk on the beach there with Maeve the Deerhound and have a look at the wreck of Island Queen which we haven't seen for a while. It was lovely and clear and sunny with what cloud there was clearing Northwards. The sea was calm and amazingle blue, especially in the Sound of Gigha. We could see out as far as Jura but the Paps were not as clear as recently when they were covered in snow.

We had quite a late lunch and later there were egg custard tarts.

Later still Apothecary7 was painting.
