There goes my Saturday lie-in.

The house over the road are getting some work done, and so I was woken this morning to the sound of scaffolding being erected and a stihl saw being started.

Last night was Emma's sleepover for her birthday, so a lie-in was never on the cards anyway. 

I can confirm a stihl saw makes slightly less noise than a group of excited 12 year-old girls!
