Siren Call
It's a nice summer evening here in Bangor. The golden light and strong shadows cast on this roof add some colour to what is normally a drab and rusty concrete flat roof. Part sewage works/part mothballed underground Royal Navy Cold War listening station (sssh!) and normally a bit of an eyesore at the edge of Ballyholme Bay; it's main occupants now, are seagulls and a few mangy cats.
The air vents reminded me a little of the sirens used in WWII to announce air raids.
I read this, guffawed loudly, and thought some of you photogs might appreciate it:
