Abominable Yetis

ELAPs had a dress rehearsal of their panto this afternoon at East Leake Village Hall. I went along, as is my wont, to take photos.

The Snow Queen, loosely based on the original tale by Hans Christian Anderson, has been written by one of our members, Gill Bowness. She had a hard time fitting everyone in who wanted a cameo role and still tell the story. It's visually tremendous. A lot of work has gone into set building decoration and costumes. The Snow Queen's costume is amazing.

These two ladies were cast as yetis but of a special kind. Remember Edie and Patsy in AbFab? You've got it! There's an album of photos of the panto on Facebook.

Was delighted to realise this evening that my right leg is feeling much stronger and I've been able to walk without a stick in the  house.
