Summer in the park

Off work all week with no particular plans.
This morning a nice man called Tom came and took our horrible old gas fire from the living room - first step towards fulfilling the big plans I've had for the room for years.
Filled the boot with another load of old toys for a charity shop.
Took P to the orthodontist.
Bought school shoes for T & P.
Met Jake, Karen and Mags for a drink.
Fish & chips for tea.
And in the middle of all that we sat in the park for half an hour glorying at the brightness of the flowers and watching the world go by.
