SJN Jazz Jam

SJN (Shrewsbury Jazz Network) hosted its annual Jazz Jam this afternoon at The Hive, Shrewsbury.  I wasn't brave enough to play this time ........  not been practising enough (slapped wrists) but plenty of my fellow band members did and it was good to see them all again.  The only downside of the Jam was that it was the last one to be run by a wonderful musician and teacher, Casey Greene, who is returning to his home Country, Australia, in January after a 12 year stay in the UK, teaching mostly in Shropshire and playing gigs and concerts all over the UK.  His departure will be a great loss to many.
