Golden light

Sunday 4th December 2016         (backblip)

Cold, sunny day so we decided to wrap up warmly & head out for a walk at Westgate Woods ....... it would have been a shame to miss out on the sunshine.

It was lovely there ..... albeit decidedly chilly! We saw a large number of Goldfinches ........ managed to get a shot of this one in the late afternoon sun ....... hope you like it :-)

There was also a lovely sunset which I have included as an extra :-)

After coming home for a warm drink ..... we went to the hospital to visit my friend. I'm pleased to say she is doing well & has already mastered getting in & out of her wheelchair which is good. She seems very positive too :-)
