Home is where the kettle is...

I am still getting over jet lag, so was awake at 5 am. I packed up my kettle, tea bags, a mug, and made my way to my new property to receive the keys... I was quite shocked to find just bare wires from the ceiling, allegedly this is very Swiss, you only have to have a functioning bathroom and kitchen light for a new tennant.
So the furniture arrives next Monday, so am still in my temporary apartment til then. I am still very much getting used to Swiss living,, the curtain rails are 'slotted tracks', so puzzling how I may hang some traditional British curtains ( when I make them!)
Also getting used to the cost of household items too...
