Pan-Klinik

The building with the odd hat - like an upsidedown icecream cone is the Pan Klinik in Cologne.  I couldn't find any information (that I could understand, at any rate) about why it has a hat on.

Another lovely day.  We set out intending to wend our way to the Stadtgarten, where we could combine seeing the garden with yet another Weihnachtsmarkt - but I started to feel unwell and weary.  This is probably due to having had pain in my knees during the night and having slept badly.  Anyway, we returned back to our apartment and have had a thoroughly lazy afternoon.  

Sadly, we now have to start packing - we need to be out of here by 10 tomorrow morning, to catch our trains back to Norwich.

For future reference, anyone planning to visit the Christmas Markets would be well advised to avoid the weekend - the crowds on Saturday and Sunday were immense, today was a pleasure.
