The Buttermere Tree
A quick trip to Cumbria gave me a chance to work on an Autumn Study of the head of Buttermere. The often feet-in-the-water Buttermere Tree was firmly aground. The extras show the very still water giving lovely reflections of Fleetwith Pike and often-climbed Haystacks, and on the way back to the car a friendly Robin greeted me from the side of the track. Despite the heavy grey skies, a good day. Good photos of Crummock Water and Buttermere Village too.
