Firsts

As Maria(not)inWales and I walked to the station after the shortest two days in living memory, we passed this in the grounds of City of Oxford College. I often go past here. I worked just round the corner for over a year. I studied here for two years when it was a proper FE college and not ‘Activate Learning’. I’ve eaten cherries from the trees on the other side of the campus. But I’d never seen these apples until Maria pointed them out. I bet the architect who designed the paint scheme had, though.
 
Another thing I saw today that I’ve never seen before: the Thames completely frozen over (extra).
