Christmasy

We are making an effort to get into Christmas so went to buy a new fake tree... I hope the lights will work...and more cheery lights for the window in these dark dark days ( today was especially dark and dreary after yesterday's sparkle and some parts of the city actually had snow). One year we spent Christmas in Stockholm --- I remember all the wonderful lights in the windows. But the photo is from a different errand to a boat store.. I did like all these lines on spools and thought this will do for "Christmasy "... Forget about port and starboard! Run thru a watercolor filter. The other big accomplishment was sending our passports away for renewed ones for future travel plans next year.
