A Day At A Time.

Aftermath

At last the rain has stopped and the skies have cleared a bit.

But the aftermath s really quite shocking. We were the worst hit part of Spain and the ports of Duquesa and Estepona have taken a battering. The clean up job will be huge. Sabinillas must be under a thick layer of mud. I haven't ventured near to see for myself.

In front of us, the beach is piled high with bamboo, washed down the rivers and dumped on the shore by the tide. Even this will take some tidying up.

It's a Bank Holiday today, so no school. Just as well. I have 100 school reports to write.

Sigh.
