Christmas nativity scenes

Near the Cathedral in Funchal you'll find several Christmas displays (and lovely little stalls selling local treats too).

There's an enormous Nativity and there's also a very special miniature landscape, with real miniature lettuces and the like.

The Christ figure and the stable scene are larger dolls but the surroundings which are clearly the Madeiran rural landscape are particularly special.

So much to see and do.

And we've found a classical concert for Saturday night too.
