Moonlit EB
A concerned call from the UK has meant a sudden change of plans - so today was unexpectedly busy. Everything that had to be done here is done, and we'd rather be close to hand and not needed than needed and in a different country.
I absolutely had to do a (frankly insulting, and conceptually really really poor) set of psychometric tests ahead of an interview next week - so obviously that meant that today would be the day that the laptop would decide to undertake a 6 hour upgrade. There was some choice language, but eventually modern technology let me use my phone to link my account to Mrs IttH's laptop and an hour later the tests were done. The first series had fixed pairs of options which you had to favouritise - for 16 out of 50 I was fairly strongly opposed to either - should make for interesting results.
The rest of the day was taken up with booking new return flights, quick coffees with friends and employers instead of leisurely lunches and a lot of emails to change arrangements, but also a lot of gratitude for people's understanding and the fact that we live in times where this is even possible.
Heading out for a last dinner I realised I'd not taken a single picture all day - but the crystal clear night, a bright quarter moon and the reflective nature of snow meant that little camera, balanced on a wall, captured this.
