Disaster Day

Woke up this morning to a distinctly chilly Maison MD.  Our central heating pump had surrendered to old age (it was over 35 years old) and stopped working altogether.
The day has been spent 'phoning heating engineers to effect a solution to the lack of warmth.  Of course this pump is no longer available, so a more complicated solution is called for.  Eventually got a man who came to have a look and - miracle of miracles - he reckons he can do the job - but not until Friday.
Rest of day spent locating - and buying and collecting - electric heaters to see us through until Friday.
This emergency blip is of one of our bookcases - I always like to look what other people read - so now you can do the same :-)
