Bus Stop Reflection

From inside one of the elaborate new bus-shelter-come-mini-advertising-cinemas there are all along Princes Street. On my way back home after a meal out with the ex-S&N guys. It's been a while since I caught up with E, M and J, not least because E hasn't been very well. He has a rare immune condition and has been having treatment for some time now. It's slow progress but he felt up to coming out for a meal so it was great to see him again. He seems to have a great attitude to it all - just taking it as it comes, setting himself little progress targets as he seeks to slowly recover mobility and fitness. And all with amazing good humour. I think M said at one point that if you'd asked people on adjacent tables they wouldn't have known that the four of us had been discussing such serious things!
