Wet on wet painting

Watercolour painting has several techniques to be practised/mastered!
Wet on wet is one such technique.....here, the Christmas tree decorations, are painted with clean, clear water, then colour is introduced, and allowed to 'flow'.....it moves freely on the water foundation ....so every painting will be different!
Today's U3A watercolour class was, understandably, painting a Christmas card!
Looking for improvements next year!
