Christmas show.....

Took some cattle to the Christmas sale at St Boswells today. Despite there being a power failure and a shortage of light(or maybe because of it ! ) I managed to get a 3rd for an AngusX heifer and a 2nd for a pair of Limousin X bullocks. They sold quite well averaging £1300 for the bullocks. Not as well as the overall champion which came to around £2400 for a next door neighbour. All topped off by a free feed in the canteen for everyone thanks to the auction company, H & H.
