NOT dead? And it wont lie down.
Having been confined to barracks, yet again, I did my usual p.m. prowl and was gobsmacked to find this critter rearing its Chlorophyl-free head.
O.K. I know things of the tree variety take a bit of killing, but come ON!
I checked back as far as here (Where it's the nearer of the two stumps) and found out that it has been a stump for in excess of three years, because in that other shot it's NOT a shiny new-sawn stump.
Later, it looked like this. It was then topped by an old-fashioned drain surround with a decorative pot on top to exclude light.
I had a selection of macros I was playing with, but since this has been ''marmelised'' yet again I thought I'd better keep the record going.
