Work in progress

I am not good at knitting and this has stretched my level of skill to the limit. As with most things, although I am not good at doing something, that doesn't stop me having a go. I need to pick up stitches to make the button band now. The band is a continuous piece up one side across the hood and down the other side. It also has a pattern in it that I am not going to do. I will choose an easier pattern in its place. I already had to substitute a different pattern for the bottom and cuffs. See extra if you are interested. Wish me luck! Hopefully it will fit the baby. Sorry cannot add extras. My app won't open the gallery to choose them. I'll try just taking a picture. If I can I'll show you how it should look.
