Look out world....

Today was C's second day of orientation at high school. Yesterday I drove her and picked her up. Today she rode with R.....except he appeared at home at 2:30, having been dismissed from his "buddy" duties to new students, early.
"How's C getting home?"
"She'll ride."
"Does she know you've gone?"
"She'll know when my bike's not there."
"Will she be OK?"
"Yes Mum, she's a big girl now."
And of course she appeared right as rain, not flustered just full of chatter about new friends and art and Indonesian and sewing and..... She's a big girl now.
