A Shaft Of Light

The good thing about today was that it was warm - at least compared to the last few days/weeks. On the down side, it was miserable, misty, altogether uninspiring.

The good thing about staying in was that most of the Christmas presents are wrapped, and hopefully I have remembered everyone, and with the addition of some odds and ends, all is ready for the Santa Trip.

When stuck for a picture, there is always the Abbey - closed by the time I got there, so I had to do what I usually do - stick the lens through the railings. The last of the light was reflecting in the damp paving slabs. Sums up the day, kind of.
