Cuckmere Estuary.

On our way to play golf this morning in Seaford. Unfortunately we encountered some very slow traffic, making us an hour late. On the upside, we could enjoy views like this, the geography text book view of the Cuckmere river meander. This could soon be a historical shot, as the coastal defence people have decided to let nature have it's way. The meander will revert, eventually, to salt marsh, apparently. So long as the Cuckmere pub remains intact......
