Nosing About

It was so nice to get a fairly clear day today. I decided to head up to the moor. I haven't been to Hayne Down and Bowerman's Nose for a while and it's a lovely part of the moor. When you're up on that ridge there are some great views back towards Hound Tor and Hay Tor. 

Mr Bowerman has a great place to be. He was a hunter and said to be a good chap but he p*ssed off some witches apparently and was turned into stone. That's the quick tale without much detail but you can look here if you'd like to know more.

There was some nice light so I had a good scramble around and there are a few more pics here if you'd like to see them.
