Ice crystals

Although the anticyclone dominates and no fresh snow is forecast, the stroll with M and P after our picnic lunch in the usual spot took us past a few small patches of remaining snow. The freezing temperatures of the past week have had their pleasing effect and were glistening in the sunshine as we walked on by. I couldn't resist.
