Doing The Most Good

I had the Salvation Army come pick up a whole boatload of stuff from my office/spare bedroom. My desktop computer and desk went. So did a huge pile of linens and pillows, almost all new. A brand-new bed, too. A boom box, 100 CDs and DVDs, a few dozen books and more.

At this time of year there are a lot of organizations happy to get such donations, but I couldn't think of any more worthy, or could make the biggest impact, than the Salvation Army.
