Not the best photo ever, and my apologies if this image offends anyone. Byt if your tummy button, or someone you know's tummy butto looks like this then a visit to the doctor is required.
It's an umbilical hernia and they don't fix on their own.
It's the only photo I took today. It's been repaired but I won't be running a marathon any time soon.
The consultant, doctors, and nursing staff were absolutely magnificent all day. I couldn't have wished for better care. Well done Danny Boyle for including real nurses and real patients in the Olympic Opening Ceremony. The people I met today epitomise the Olympic Ideals.
