A misty day in Cumbria
We left home a day early to attend the funeral of a friend of John's brother, his neighbour, who allows us park the motor home in his yard. We didn't know B well but heard enough to respect him as a biker, business and family man. His coffin arrived in a outfit, a motor bike and side car converted for funerals, quite amazing and very fitting. The gathering was in the crematorium near Workington with loud rock music as we walked in and a member from the Humanist society taking the proceeding. It's years since I have seen any pub packed as was the one for the wake - which happened to be next door to brother in law, the food was the best and the bar busy, the landlord did a good trade I should think. The above was taken outside the crematorium afterwards.
