Archie assists
JR took Archie up the Hill this afternoon while I popped in to see Uncle A. Actually, to see Uncle A's large photo album of his recent holiday in the Western Isles. Each photo had a caption, but Uncle A was keen to embellish each one with family anecdotes and a Who's Who. I visited the area many years ago with him and met quite a lot of my old relatives then. Not so many of them left now...
Archie still occasionally has his little 'turns', usually at night. Last night he had a couple. He will suddenly run from his bed and stand by the door, or be licking, licking licking his paws for ages. He's fine if he's lifted on to the bed - settles down to sleep right away - but we're trying to wean him off that (not fair on visitors who may be looking after him). He (we) might have a peaceful night now for months - we only hope it doesn't get worse as he grows older, which is a possibility, from what we've read.
JR was making some jam this evening, so nosey wee Archie had to have a proper look.
