Don't forget your bag!

Seattle has just enacted a new ordinance as of July 1, 2012 that bans plastic grocery bags.

There are a few exceptions, such as the plastic bags that your produce comes in, but your carry out bag either has to be some sort of cloth reusable bag, OR the customer has the option of paying 5 cents for a paper bag.

The whole thing is not a bad idea, but it is taking some getting used to as I get to the check out counter, only to realize that once again, I left my reusable bag(s) in the trunk of the car.
