North Mymms

Although I must have passed these imposing gates on many occasions, this is the first time I have stopped to photograph them. They stand at the entrance to North Mymms Park in Hertfordshire.

I realised this afternoon that the central heating boiler wasn't firing up.  I called up the breakdown service, but they are so busy that the earliest they can come is Saturday afternoon.  The forecast is for cold weather.  Great.  I have managed to find our electric fan heater and that is now being moved around the house to wherever we are at any particular time.
