Lace Christmas party

Tonight - party night, but this is a group of ladies (and one man) who enjoy quizzes, eating food, drinking homemade non-alcoholic punch and listening to music.

We usually have a competition, which is a theme and the members make a piece of lace that will depict the theme. The problem we have found with that it is the same people that enter the competition. It is judged by the members putting a coin next to the one they prefer. The coins are then added (not financially but how many coins and the winner is the one with the most. With such exquisite work it is hard to get a look in.

So this year is a complete change and the members were asked to bring item(s) for a "display of members work". Each piece was given a raffle ticket and then tickets drawn for a prize (3 in total). Such exquisite work - three worthy winners.

Members agreed this change for future Christmas parties.
