Christmas Memories

Dad loved to do plastic canvas needle point. This is a door hanger he made years ago. Our family had a tradition of giving each other hand made gifts. It was fun to see what Mom and Dad came up with each year. Mom would help with some of the stitching, put the finishing touches on the projects and stitch them together if that was needed, but Dad did the majority of the work.

After Dad retired, I don't think I ever saw his hands idle while he was watching his sports on TV. 

I am grateful for these treasures that were made by my parents hands.
