Across the Miles

We recently received a Christmas card from our Australian Blip friend Glass Road, who visited us last year. I found the card very intriguing, as the activities pictured on it are so different from what Christmas where we live is like!

The friendships we make here are so wonderful, making the world seem a much smaller place. I follow Blippers in the United States, Canada, Wales, Scotland, Ireland, England, France, Iceland, Spain/Egypt, Turkey, Australia, and New Zealand. Their journals show me the lives of real people, not those we see in our respective media outlets. Just imagine how different the world might be if everyone -- every "ordinary" citizen -- was part of this virtual community!
