Old Medicine

The Johnson and Johnson First aid Manual copyright 1918 this is the Eighth edition revised, then we have the Holloways Gout and Rheumatism creme and Woods Pepermint Cure for Coughs and Colds. The creme jar and Bottle were excavated out of the ground when I was doing a plumbing job on a new site a few years ago, the wee jar is slightly damaged but still looks good and I can just imagine some Bloke on a wagon selling all sorts of potions and pots and pans.
The old First Aid Manual is a good read they still show how to cut a snake bite and suck out the poison, now thats a bit of a laugh. The best part of the book is the very front where they describe what First Aid is,this would be the best description I have ever seen.
