Many Bridges

Many bridges, the world over, are for pedestrians and pedal power but not many have carpets. This one did. The old wooden planks were so slippery in the rain it was needed for grip. This week the carpet was replaced, rather nice I think - looks lots better.

Seems I've learnt a costly lesson. I did a photography job without agreeing payment before hand. Four weeks later and I haven't even been able to get my taxi fare back and having missed an appointment today I don't think I'm going to get a penny. Twenty hours work, £25 taxi and £10 batteries ....stupid me. The worst part is they live in our apartment block.
