One of those Days

I am sure that we have all had one of those days when nothing goes quite to plan, well today was just like that! SwissPiper and I planned to fit in a couple of hours ski touring only it didn't quite happen. First of all SwissPiper got home from work and I was running late, then I had to pick up some new skis and skins but the shop had closed for lunch. Then SwissPiper had arranged to test some skis and boots which always takes longer than you anticipate. We finally got to the Bernina Pass and we're just fitting the new skins when we realised that we weren't sure how they fixed on the skis. So it was back to the shop for a demonstration. By this time it was pitch dark and of course we hadn't got headtorches with us. So that was that.
