The streets of Georgetown
The skies were clear so I wanted to make hay while the sun shined. I packed my SLR camera and headed out. Of course the sun meant that it was noticeably hotter. My first stop was a 'coffee shop' (a term used to describe a collection of food stalls in a single building) to have oyster omelette. Unfortunately because Georgetown gets flooded by hungry Malaysians from the mainland at weekends, I had to wait an hour. On the plus side, a lovely couple from the city of Ipoh sat on my table and the conversation made the wait go by faster.
I then walked around the streets, taking photos and exploring the side streets until early evening.
