Flower Friday - Lily of the Incas (Alstroemeria)

Bikerbear has suggested an "anything goes" Flower Friday today - no "twist".

So I borrowed some Alstroemeria from the bouquet given to my Editor by my Dad for her birthday about a couple of weeks ago - they're still surviving well. Having done my last few FF blips against a black background I went for a dreamy white-background shot this time.

I only found out the name "Lily of the Incas" by Googling "Alstroemeria" - it sounds a bit more romantic than the proper name!
