Film and Flower Friday

I had to go for an x-ray this morning after my blood test, not related. There is an excellent walk-in radiology department at Stratford, I was in and out in fifteen minutes.

After a coffee in the local cafe I went to the cinema to see the lunchtime screening of J K Rowling's film Fantastic Beasts. It was very good, obviously made for maximum 3D effect though this screening was in 2D, a sort of grownup version of the Harry Potter films set in 1920s New York.

We have this hellebore in a pot in the front garden, one of the few flowers still in blossom, this week's choice for Flower Friday hosted by BikerBear.
