Sluice

Saw this shot yesterday but didn't have a camera.  Much greyer morning this morning but think it works.  I've photographed this sluice before, going way back, and always stop to look at it when going round the loch. I'm fascinated by the way leaves get trapped, and it's different every time - the light, the amount of water and leaves.

And isn't sluice a funny word?  Say it over and over, and it sounds like you've made it up!
