Fairies

Today was a "mummy and Noo day off" so we started with a lay in and breakfast in bed. We were hoping to go to Battle Abbey for more 1066 battle re-enactment (yawn) but it was closed. Once we'd recovered from our disappointment (and had a bath) we decided to go to Batemans, just down the road - the home of Rudyard Kipling and his family.

We enjoyed looking for fairy houses and doors in the main house and gardens. After refreshments in the cafe, we had a reasonable walk before searching for the remaining doors.

Meanwhile, ZQ earned himself a 'praise award' for his attitude to learning across all subjects...
