Taking the dive

Well I promised you a bird shot yesterday.So here it is.
   I took my normal trip to the River Avon this afternoon.The drive,hopefully getting my 20 month old Grandson to sleep?
   It worked.And while he was snoozing,I took a stroll along the riverbank
I was soon to spot a Cormorant making its dives to fish for its lunch.
   It must have spotted something the other side of the Weir.So took the plunge!
  Very interesting watching them fish.They hold their breath for an amazing amount of time.
  My G/son was not left unattended by the way! I have a baby alarm in the car that signals to my phone. And I was never any more than 100 yds away!
