Bearing up under the pressure......

The day started well enough. Tagged some wee calves and gave them their pneumonia vaccine. Payed some accounts before the postie came, including a large vet bill for lots of vaccine ! It works out around £7.78 per dose for the wee calves and £16.14 for the bigger cattle. Expensive, but if it works , better than loads of expensive antibiotics or a dead beast. And at £7 , much the same as getting a flu jab at Asda !
Discovered a bearing on the silage feeder was on its way out. After a bit of phoning around I was unable to source one off the shelf so managed to steal the guts out of a new one I had with the wrong casing. A bit of grinding and hammering later and job done.
