The Sweetheart Rose....

Cecile Brunner aka the Sweetheart Rose has been around since the 1880s. I remember it as a child in our family garden. We are luckily enough to have two large examples of this in our present garden in Blenheim. Son Duncan and daughter-in-law Mei are here for the weekend. It's lovely to see them and we have all eaten well and very healthily today. I even managed to mow the lawns before they arrived. So the place is looking very tidy.
