My Olympus Cameras
I been using my current Olympus camera, an OMD EM 10 for nearly three years now. I estimate I have taken 30,000 photographs during that period and decided it was time for an upgrade. My new camera arrived this week. It's Olympus OMD EM5 MkII, a camera I know is familiar to many blippers.
One of the advantages of this upgrade is that the controls are very similar so I don't have to go through a huge learning curve and obviously all my existing lenses fit.
The new camera is on the right, on the left is the one I have been using recently and at the back is my old OM-1n which I haven't used for about 30 years.
One thing which is striking is likeness between the newer cameras and the old one but I know Olympus styled the current OMD series on the original OM1.
I'm just pleased that the technology has improved so dramatically and that you no longer have to spend an age getting the chemicals to the right temperature! This photo was taken using my phone.
