Mountain rescue teams.

We came across Cockermouth and Keswick Mountain rescue teams doing a joint training exercise at Skelwith Bridge.

As well as rescuing people off the mountains, they are there to save lives during floods! It was amazing watching them in the fast flowing river today!

What a fantastic emergency service they are!!! 

On the way through Keswick we stopped at the stone circle...see 'extra'.
