Place Vendôme

This morning we went to Galleries Lafayette to see their Christmas tree and my intention was to blip that, but instead you have two of the trees at Place Vendôme. Everywhere is so beautifully decorated!

We've covered some miles again today - after Galleries Lafayette we walked to Madeline as Alan wanted to go to the Bell & Ross shop to buy a new watch strap. We then strolled through the Christmas market again, had Tartiflette for lunch and then crossed over the Seine to the Rive Gauche.

We went to another small Christmas market at Saint-Germaine-des-Prés and then walked to Le Place St Sulpice where there was supposed to be another one but there wasn't! We love the rive gauche though, and being away from the tourist trap.

We've had an hour or so in the room when we got back, finished the birthday cake, had more champagne and are now getting ready to go out for dinner.
