24k Gold Mistletoe

A bit of an emergency blip, since today has been largely dull, dull, dull, rainy and also a bit wet. And it's possible there was a bit of recovery required after last night's Yuletide festivities with my old work colleagues.

At last week's Mistletoe Ritual Janet was gifted this rather splendid Georg Jensen mistletoe to hang on our Yule tree. Gold is not the easiest thing to photograph, particularly when it is so very shiny! Hence it looks beautifully black on its flat surfaces.

If you look closely into the balls you can see the jolly fat man. 

No, it's not Santa. But he's willing if you are... Ho ho ho.
